The Sisters of Fate are a group of Greek goddesses who weave the thread of destiny, their names are Atropos, Clotho, and Lachesis. The origin of the sisters is vague and could be traced back to being the daughters of Nyx or the offspring of Themis and Zeus.
Each of the sisters has a different role, Clotho is the spinner of the thread of life, Lachesis is the one who measures the length of the thread, and Atropos is the one who cuts the thread when the time comes. They also represent the different passages of time, Atropos being the past, Clotho the present, and Lachesis the future.
The Sisters of Fate know everything that every mortal and god had ever done or would do, no one, not even Gods, has the power to influence or challenge their decisions.
The Sisters of Fate also share similarities with the Nordic Weavers of Fate - The Norns.
