Lilith is a demonic figure in Judaic mythology, supposedly the first woman and also the first wife of Adam. In Jewish folklore, Lilith was created at the same time as Adam, from the same clay that Adam was sculpted from, she was the first wife god created for Adam but her refusal to be subservient to Adam drove her away from the Garden of Eden.
The origin of Lilith can be traced back to the ancient Mesopotamia era to tablets associated with the Epic of Gilgamesh, the similar demonic creatures can be connected to the inspiration of the Jewish creation of Lilith.
